Senior consultant and Head of the Multidisciplinary Team and Scientific Coordinator of the Inherited Metabolic Diseases Reference Centre of the São João University Hospital. She is a medical doctor and paediatrician. Her research interests include Inherited Metabolic Disorders, Lysosomal Storage Disorders, intermediary metabolism diseases and CDG.
