Alicia Renedo is lead researcher of the DEPTH group (Dialogue, Evidence, Participation and Translation for Health) in the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has a PhD in Social Psychology. Her research focuses on community participation and patient involvement in the planning and governance of health services, research, and quality improvement, with a particular emphasis on both theoretical and empirical aspects of empowerment, citizenship in health and knowledge co-production.
